Yorkshire Netball Regional Board

Yorkshire Netball is one of 9 Regional Netball Associations in England. 

It’s run by voluntary Regional Management Board members, elected by members (affiliated) to Yorkshire Netball. We operate within the framework set by England Netball, the national governing body for the sport.

Regional One Awards Coordinator (co-opted)

The Regional Management Board is also responsible for working with the 4 County Netball Associations in Yorkshire, the England Netball delivery team based in Yorkshire, Leeds Rhinos Netball and other identified stakeholders to support the management and development of netball initiatives across the region.

England Netball

England Netball is the national governing body for England’s second-largest female team sport, Netball. It oversees and is responsible for the strategic plan of the sport across the country. Levels of participation are growing fast, with at least 321,200 people are playing netball on a fortnightly basis.

England Netball - Yorkshire Team

The England Netball - Yorkshire team's role is to support the growth and development of the game at the local grassroots level across the region. Contact your local England Netball staff in Yorkshire if you are in need of support for club development, coaching or officiating courses and community programmes.

Leeds Rhinos Netball

We work in partnership with Leeds Rhinos Netball on a range of Netball matters including coach development.

The 4 County Netball Associations, each a member of England Netball, are made up of a group of elected volunteers who form a Management Board to represent each County. They receive member affiliation fees for all those that affiliate to England Netball, when participating in Netball activity based in their County. This funding is administered to support the development, delivery and growth of Netball at all levels across different environments and roles within the County. It is done in consultation with members linked to a strategic County plan that the County Management Board and its working groups are responsible for.
