Patrick joined the board as a way to utilise his experience chairing trustee boards and managing organisational governance to give back to a sport that he is passionate about.

Patrick's professional background is within Higher Education, where he has worked across various roles in strategy, governance, and student operations. He has played Netball since 2016 after joining his University academic society mixed team. Since then, he has been a foundational player for the Norfolk United Roos (EMMNA Men's & Mixed Team of the year 2024) and represented the Leeds-based Northern Titans at the last three EMMNA Men's & Mixed Nationals, for which he also spent several years as Club Secretary.

In addition to Netball, Patrick is also a keen touch rugby player and has helped set-up York's first and currently only mixed touch rugby club.
