Notice of the Yorkshire Regional Netball Association 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM)

We are pleased to announce the date of the Yorkshire Netball AGM as Monday 14 September.

We would be delighted to welcome representatives from Yorkshire-affiliated clubs, schools, universities and colleges, as well as officials, personal members and Honorary Life Members affiliated with England Netball, to the AGM.

Our AGM is an opportunity for members to come and hear a review of the previous year’s activities, to receive our current financial statement consisting of monies paid by all affiliated members, and to elect or re-elect the Regional Management Board members.

Each affiliated organisation is entitled to have one individual attend or a proxy vote nominated in advance on their behalf. It’s also a great way to meet other netball volunteers!

At the last AGM, several new members were elected to the Board. In accordance with the Constitution, any Board members who require election will be proposed at this year's AGM. We also expect to open a vacancy for an Officiating Lead in the near future.

Our volunteer working group is undertaking recruitment to identify individuals that have the professional skills, experience, passion and time to dedicate to helping us strategically drive netball in Yorkshire. We will present their details to be voted and elected at the AGM.

During the year, we undertook a review of the Constitution and will present a revised version for approval at the AGM. The proposed amendments are not substantive in nature and largely aim to ensure that the Constitution reflects current governance best practice.
