England Netball is recruiting two new Netball Development Officers (NDOs), one for North Yorkshire and one for South Yorkshire. It's a brilliant opportunity for two passionate individuals to help grow and shape the future of netball across our region.
Yorkshire Netball will be working closely with whoever steps into these roles, so we're delighted to help spread the word on both vacancies.
About the roles
Both NDOs will play a key part in driving netball forward in their county, working hand in hand with clubs, leagues, volunteers and partners to deliver outstanding participation opportunities for players of all ages and abilities. The roles sit within England Netball's 10-year Adventure Strategy, contributing to the wider goal of making netball a game for life, from Bee Netball right through to Walking Netball, while also exploring income generation and funding opportunities to support the sport's growth locally.
Day to day, successful candidates can expect to be at the heart of their local netball community: championing membership and support packages, building strong relationships with their County Netball Association, coaching and delivering sessions, camps and festivals, and helping the sport reach new and currently underserved audiences.
