An action packed 3 days of Netball in Sheffield!

From end-to-end battles to standout individual performances, Sheffield truly became the heart of school Netball over 3 days.

What an action packed 3 days of Netball we enjoyed at the EIS Sheffield, as the England Netball National Schools Finals, in association with the British army, brought together the very best school teams from across the country.

With all three age groups—U19s on 14 March, U14s on 21 March, and U16s on 22 March—taking to the court, spectators were treated to a thrilling showcase of talent, determination and passion for the game.

From end-to-end battles to standout individual performances, the standard of play was nothing short of phenomenal. Sheffield truly became the heart of school Netball over the 3 days, and we were incredibly lucky to witness such high quality competition right here in our region.

But it wasn’t just Yorkshire schools making their mark. We were also proud to see umpires, assessors and volunteers from across our region playing a key role in the smooth running and overall success of this national event. Their commitment, professionalism and passion embody everything that makes our Netball community so strong.

A huge thank you and congratulations to everyone who represented Yorkshire off the court — your contribution was invaluable and deeply appreciated.

National Schools Finals has been a celebration not only of impressive performances, but of the people who make Netball happen: players, coaches, families, officials and volunteers. The future of the sport is clearly bright, and we’re proud that Sheffield had the chance to host such an inspiring showcase.
